Kids Hope USA LogoKids Hope USA builds caring relationships…
one child, one hour, one church, one school.

In July 2011, Vineyard Church of Northridge entered into an agreement with Kids Hope USA to partner with Northridge Elementary School. This partnership enabled us to provide mentors to at-risk students who need one-on-one time with a caring adult. Basically, we are able to encourage and give HOPE to children who may be struggling with academics, social skills, or peer relationships.

During the weekly mentoring hour many things can take place. We play games, draw pictures, read books, work on math skills, take a walk outside or inside, and do crafts. The constant in these activities is the mentor sharing with the student one-on-one.
