Text: Romans 1:16-17 & Genesis 1:26, 3:4

Romans 1:16-17

16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.[1] 17 This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”[2]

Genesis 1:26

26 Then God said, “Let us make human beings[1] in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth,[2] and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”
